The biggest threats to Red Bull’s perfect F1 start

One thing that can't be denied after the first two rounds of F1 2023 is that Red Bull has a clear car advantage.
Things look a bit closer in qualifying as cars like the Ferrari disguise their inherent limitations with the grip of a new tyre over one lap, so Red Bull is “only” two or three tenths of a second ahead.
But on race day there is nothing that comes close to the Red Bull. At times in Saudi Arabia, those cars looked a second quicker than anything else.
The amazing strength of the RB19 is obvious already. But in this perfect start, we also seen some areas of vulnerability that Red Bull will have to manage too.

00:00 Red Bull's dominance
00:34 Verstappen's determination
03:28 Reliability fears
06:02 Cost cap penalty

Apologies to Checo for forgetting his excellent Singapore win 😳

So long as checo is told that max is pushing, I'm more than happy to watch them fight it out

Honestly don't mind it too much if the all-conquering RB19 is actually a glass cannon. Would make the season more interesting. But you just know that wont be the case because the team is too competent. Curse those brainiacs in Milton-Keynes!

Jos Verstappen's body language after the race was priceless. I want to see more of that this year.

2:57 didn’t Perez also win in Singapore? That was his last win right? Not Monaco

The scariest thing about Redbull so far is they’re not even happy with the car yet

the competition this year is *actually* all the F1 outlets with booming viewership numbers all trying as hard as they can to make things appear closer than they actually are.

I've heard a lot of verstappen/senna comparisons after the latest fuzz... Senna gave the 91 Japanese GP win to Berger after the latter helped him immensely throughout the season, Senna ran out of his car to shut down Erik Comas engine after he realized he was passed out with his foot down the throttle (keep in mind at that time Marshalls did not have adequate training to handle these situations)... Sure Senna was ruthless and hard headed at times, but there's really no comparison to Max if you ask me... Both are phenomenal drivers nonetheless

I dont thnik Checo will be able to keep up the fight over the whole season. There are weekends where he matches Max or is rarely faster, but to me it occures that Checo is off the pace more regularly.

Max is reminding me of Seb when he was at RB. Kinda scary how similar it is

Only thing that can stop Redbull are Redbull themselves. However as season progress and Max grow his lead over Checo, this current tension will disappear.

Sour faced Jos did actually congratulate Checo 10 seconds after that picture was taken and he shook his hand. Doesnt change the picture being hilarious though.

Max is scarily similar to RB Seb. The pace, the eagerness to dominate, wining motivation, etc. You can name it all and he have it.

Checo should have known that Max would go for fastest lap on the last lap, he should have done it as well. Very naive of him to think Max would do what was best for the team and not himself, when will he learn, Max won't give him an inch even if the team says so. I loved his response on the radio when they gave him the delta and he questioned why Max was different

All this drama surrounding Verstappen, Perez, and Red Bull feels very biased.
Hamilton would have gone for the win and fastest lap as well. If it were Bottas in P1, there would have been a "Valtteri, this is James" message. Nobody made articles like this back then. The same goes for the speed deficit regarding the rest of the grid. It was much higher during the Mercedes hegemony, but nobody was complaining back then. Even after 8 seasons of absolute dominance!

max ignoring his engineer with the fastest lap just reminded me of seb back in his rb days

If checo wants any chance of winning a championship, he’ll have to take risks & disobey team orders

Literally just uploaded a video on this precise topic "Red Bull's Unfair Advantage: For the Love of F1". C'mon Mercedes...and any other non-caffeine related team!! 😁👍

It seems everything is the biggest threat to RB this year, except other teams LOL. For context, last time it was how helmut marko phrased his words.

It’s not just the best driver or car RB have, their entire team is outstandingly efficient.
