I CAUGHT A TARANTULA in the WILD!

Check out this beautiful tarantula! These large arachnids are quite impressive, and although many people fear them, they are among some of the most docile and timid invertebrates I have worked with. Tarantulas belong to a primitive group of spiders called Mygalomorphs and share a lineage with trapdoor spiders and funnel web spiders! Have you ever seen a tarantula in the wild? Comment below!

Lmao oh man hearing you say tarantuler brought back so many memories. I was born and raised in Texas but I live in northern New Mexico now and they don't understand the Texas slang 😂..

3:59 I once held a tarantula. When I was very young. Her name was Sonia. Hopefully she was a new world tarantula.

I have 36 tarantulas and I try to teach people that you don't have to be afraid of them. We're experiencing a heat wave atm and I always get people saying that tarantulas enjoy high temperatures, however this is far from the truth as they tend to be in their burrows during the day where it's cooler.

When I was around 14 years old we were living in east Texas Golden Texas to be exact and we would have the Texas Brown Tarantula around our house in the fall and I caught 3 or 4 and one time I had one out letting it crawl around on the ground and I was barefoot and it crawled on top of my foot and for some reason it just clamped down on my foot and gave me quite the envenomation lol but it wasn't much more than a paper wasp sting. They are remarkable animals though. I love all spiders.

To this day all the other tarantulas laugh at her and her crazy alien abduction stories...

I liked and subscribed. I can’t believe you don’t have at least a million subscribers.
But that’s because you don’t fake the ‘intense screaming pain’ like Coyote Peterson lol.

Sweet little tarantulerr lol. Very calm. On the flip-side of that, what is the most aggressive spider you've ever encountered? Or maybe one you haven't encountered? Is it the Sydney Funnel Web?

What preys upon tarantulas that size? You are helping me to not be afraid of them, they are so graceful. Jack you're the best!

Your channel should have more views. You may not have the fancy equipment, but you provide very useful information in an enjoyable way.
