As a kid playing this game, whenever he said "Ya Grinched!" I always heard it as "Yeah, Grinch!" like he was congratulating himself. Makes more sense than how it actually is.

The entire Dump land mine area can be done without the jump gadget. Just do a butt pound every time you jump and you'll stay in the air a bit longer and jump farther

Oh man, I loved this game as a kid! As janky as it was, I honestly loved that the devs actually expanded something from the movie, rather than having to stick to the 2, 5 locations that were in it. I always like when tie-ins don't have to be contained within the restraints of what was approved for the original one. The egg farming thing though? Too real.

Am I truly the only one who remembered this game being amazing?

My dad picked me up during his lunch break on our half day before Christmas Break and took me to our local video store and I rented it. Put it on my Christmas list!
