The sad thing is, is that these games don't HAVE to be bad. It is actually possible for these games to have good ideas. Will there ever be a company that makes good kids licensed games? I genuinely hope so. I know the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles new game is genuinely good.

Is it weird that I kind of like the Grinches design? The book intro was cute too tbh.
I love how they don't use any unique enemies that would fit a Dr Seuss universe and just go with the stereotypical Christmas stuff you would see anywhere.

The CO-OP of this reminds me of the old Sonic 2 and 3, where a second player could play as Tails who, while he could take damage and do most things, ultimately did not have any bearing on the game as long as Sonic didn't die. Tails would just keep coming back if anything happened to him. But unlike this game, player 2 added to the experience, because tails could fly (and carry Sonic) and tag-teaming bosses was awesome.
