I had same issue and went to laptop techician to fix it. Twice experienced hinge issues with Lenovo. But still love to use it.

Hi Brilliant turorial. many thanks. I did the repair for a friend, but did not need to dismantle the screen. Just reinforce the corner area. I was very careful and do this and have experience with cooling paste on by own laptop/xbox so strip machines for that. When i assembled it again the screen is now just pulse flashing for a secondin two areas with nothing else happening. It stays on and soudns like it's booting though. Any ideas what the problem might be? Thanks
