Thank you so much. I have to repair my Lenovo and this gave me so much confidence. My model is discontinued (no its not an antique, technology just changes every 3months now lol) and frankly its an excellent computer and I can't afford a new one. Upgrades are affordable with a good motherboard :D

I was having issues disassembling this model, I found the step I was missing (ribbon cables for keyboard and touchpad) before you got to it, but I realized it thanks to the close up on the memory compartment, thanks!

At 3:14 there are two wires black and gray one, the black one got disconnected by me, and it's not getting connected again, I am worried please help me, I tried running my laptop it's working fine, but please I want to know what does that black wire do or are there any risks using laptop

Thank you, this helped me fix my wife's laptop after I dropped it on the floor and broke the display hinge mount.

Much easier to teardown and replace the bottom cover than I thought, especially using this video.
