It wasn’t just the game that was the problem in the past, remember all those products they tried to sell to people, only to realize most of them were lies.

Example: The Nuka Dark Rum bottle.
Literally just a Nuka Cola plastic container with a generics bottle of rum inside. You can even pour it out of the plastic container because it spills.

Also, remember where people who attended a Bethesda event got a canvas bag, made of actual canvas, but the people who preordered the special edition got those nylon bags, which they were promised canvas bags?

Yes, it’s so worth it. The game is fixed and it’s awesome now. Loads of new content, and Bethesda has already said they have content planned for 76 spanning the next 6-8 years. Highly recommend getting into the game.

The best example for me for when a awesome TV show helped revive a fan base for a game has to be cyberpunk edgerunners, that show brought that game back from the dead

Since the games are like 100s of millions now. I bet this will become a trend, producing movies and TV shows surrounding video games to bring hype to the games themselves.

It wasn't trash, people just had their expectations to high and people duping and overloading their stash is what made it awful in the beginning.

It’s funny cause I went to fallout 4 and not 76. But the fallout show is awesome

After the show I went back to the original fallout games after playing 76 for a bit

It's certainly better than when it launched, but it's so fucking boring after hitting level 100 where all you do is repeatable events like nuka world, that mine with the large boss that caves in after you kill it, the raids or whatever they're called where you fly somewhere on a vertibird
