Excellent, looking forward to part 2. I think I alerted you to the POE problem and seems like the splitter was the way to go

Hi, Thanks for the video. I’ve a raspberry pi 4 and looking to turn that into NAS. Would you kindly make a tutorial on it?

I followed few other methods but faced roadblocks

1) First method - using casaos & plex. But unable to open external storage device in plex
2) second method- tried installing open media vault but my ISP seems to have blocked connection to GitHub as some confirmed in the web. Couldn’t able to install
3) Finally, I followed your’s to install Ubuntu server but no idea on the rest that’s required to turn it into NAS.

You sort of remind me of Mr. Wilson on Dennis the Menace, but a nicer version of him :)

I did everything up to the point where you put your i.p. address and ::9090 an it did absolutely nothing. What am I missing?

I always thought the sudo apt update - update the database with latest versions available and sudo upgrade - upgrade to latest versions in database so if you start with upgrade it show no updates.
