7 Storylines MISSING From the Harry Potter Movies (PART 2)

Welcome to Harry Potter Theory. Today’s video is PART 2 of a 4 part series where we’ll be taking a closer look at the storylines left OUT of the Harry Potter films. These are the subplots and storylines from the books that didn’t make it to the big screen due to time constraints. Apparently the upcoming Harry Potter HBO series, which has the goal of creating faithful adaptations of the novels, will allocate 8 HOURS per season, with each season dedicated to one book. With that sort of a runtime, we should be hopeful that all of these secondary storylines make it in.

I have also missed the part where Harry after the Battle of Hogwarts uses the Elderwand to repair his own wand. How he kept his wand close all the time after it was broken during their (Hermione and Harry) visit to Belladonna, how it made him feel etc..

every time i've watched the prisoner of azkaban movie i forget they never really include the marauder plotline.

My favorite missing part, hopefully coming in a future video... Kreacher's role in all of it. When you find out he's not so horrible, he just loved Regulas so much, and couldn't do what was ask of him... This poor elf suffered so deeply, and it was awesome how Harry brought him back.

I also never stop laughing about S.P.E.W... Inside, I must still be 12!

It’s best to get into the Harry Potter tv show with zero expectations that these book exclusive plots will be addressed. We’re talking about the same studio that botched House of the Dragon season 2 with a lot of, and quite frankly, disrespectful deviations to the Fire and Blood book to where even GRR Martin had to denounce it. And no I’m not talking about the race swapping. I could care less. I’m talking about drastic plot changes, made-up fan fic side stories, and people written completely out of character.

i was always annoyed at snape being a dick to children because he was bullied by Harry's dad but loved by his mom. this whole secrecy thing lead to all the problems instead of everyone being open about certain threats.

Also Sirius was the first human to escape Azkaban
