Actually this helped me a lot. Thanks, when you said it should feel as if your voice is just falling out and I should not push my voice out I realised what I do wrong.

she emulates vocal strain, and in 1 SECOND is able to switch to correct vocal support and perfect resonance. the control she has over her voice is unbelievable. THAT is good technique !!! subscribed!

I was so ashamed to record myself singing because I hated my voice. Then I started to do it and in the beginning some phases in almost every song was a disaster, but I kept and it was so good, because I started to understand my voice better.

I used to think ALL singers were born blessed, until I saw vocal coach videos and realised my voice got 20-30% better by breathing correctly, not a great singer but hoping to be able to sing for my cat soon.

3:14 “you’re voice…falling out effortlessly!”. This is the best advice on YouTube! I’m a piano singer, who has long fought with my tendency to push…due in part to trying to match the volume of the piano. I’ve tried to “sing less” or telling myself to “stop pushing”, but that just doesn’t stop me from doing it. This mental imagery about the words just falling out, though, simply works for me…in a big way. I guess we all have different images that work for us. After thinking about it this way, my voice becomes so much freer when I sing. I find that I’m no longer locked into anyone specific configuration for the duration of a phrase. I can change that configuration midway through. And as an unexpected bonus, I’m actually louder! Thank you for this!

i can feel phlegm when i sing high notes, but that only happens when i’m by myself. for some reason, my voice is perfectly clear when i sing in front of others, but when i’m by myself, it’s rlly dry and crackly

I just want to sing without feeling so unconfident and uncomfortable. I have always hated my voice, it isn't the worst but I'm not good hahaha.

I just try to practice alone which is probably why I strain my voice because I am trying to not be loud so my family can't hear. I literally just want to do karaoke with friends without wanting to claw my throat out heheh

I couldn’t save my voice when I was three I started singing professional songs and my vocals couldn’t take out so now I don’t even know how my voice actually sounds like I’m stuck with this fake voice

I noticed I was losing range. I usually forced out as much air as possible. Frightening to think how much damage I've done by singing incorrectly for years. Thanks, like keeping my shoulders dropped, relaxed and neck and head tilted forwards seems to help.
