I don't keep a detailed log of when I get end of the month updates, but I do know I seem to get mine towards the end of that week. Thursday, or Friday is more common in my case when they show up.

I can't believe how fast time goes. it's officially Fall now and October is about a week and a half away. The holiday season is coming up fast. Another 2 years and I'll be done with my 50s. Hell it seems I just started my 50s. Crazy.

Last year when they first said the bug fixes would come in the 4th week they were on the Tuesday, until October when the day reverted back to being a movable feast. I am due to travel away on very early Thursday morning, should I be activating that slider on my Windows 10 machine that stops downloading them as soon as they appear if the updates do not show by Wednesday at 6pm UK time. I do not relish having to do updates over a guest house WiFi or my personal mini WiFi.

Why is Microsoft such a pain with the timing of these updates? A fixed time and day, like Patch Tuesday would be so much more useful and convenient.
