Hey, it's not polish band. Once again I said, it's not we who has obsession about our meal. Everyone else loves our pierogi for no reason :D update: that song is so funny and stupid... thank you for digging it up. :D

In Poland we have plenty of pierogi so we don't have to fight over the last pierog. Besides, the atmosphere of the music video is very much in the style of Katy Perry.

Pierogi are... Polish dumplings essentially.
Pierogi are standard/regular/normal size, Pierożki are small size, Uszka are small ones that are filled with cabbage and mushrooms and shaped like litter ear, with ends bend and stuck together, and Pieróg is a huge dumpling that is tree or for times bigger then regular ones (true, it also is singular to pierogi but it is not much in use in that context).

Now only way to get rid of this song from your head is to eat pierogi 😆

There is also a band called The Dumplings, but it's honestly really good ❤

I am Polish and I love pierogi. For me the best polish meal.

A single pieróg is pronounced like piae-roog or devoiced piae-rook. You could remember the pronunciation of ó by mentally replacing it with double o 😉

When we eat dumplings with my family, I always cheat, I don't divide evenly, I take more.

I liked when you said "last pierog" so you at least know pierogi is plural ;) singular form is "pieróg" - ó is pronounced like "oo" in english.... they are good and famous, but... only "battles" I had were about silesian noodles 😅 they are not that popular and known in Poland, but if you will visit silesia someday, then you need to at least try them

Only positive aspect of this song are folk costumes of Łowicz. Pierogi are ment to be shared so they song doesn't work. If you want some good song promoting Polish dish then go check Mmm... wodzionka

The song is deeper than you think :) Mommies and grannies make the best pierogi and we have many warm memories connected to this meal. Preparing it is time-consumig, and we don't bother to make them until we leave home (why should we if our elders are masters of pierogi). But if you move to another city or another country, and get a magic parcel with mom's pierogi ... don't you touch they're my pierogi :D

The singular of "pierogi" is "pieróg". It is pronounced "pye-roog". The "ó" is a version of "u".

I am a simple Pole, I hear a silly goofy song about pierogi (with a singer having a crown made of cutlery with pierogi on it), I love it. And I eat pierogi.

5:59 Rob, that "last pierog" wasn't bad guess. "Pierogi" is plural. But Pole would say last "pieróg" or rather last "pierożek", which is a diminutive. Polish is hard to master. ;)
