RetroArch v1.2.2. Quick Setup Guide & Tutorial (2015)

Retroarch is not maintaining my settings after I launch a new core. I've turned on "Configuration Per-Core" but nothing seems to work. Any thoughts?

Great video, but as a bit of constructive criticism you should take a stocking and wrap it around a wire loop of which you will place in-front of the mic so as to stop those hard P's and Hissing S's. also turn the mic volume down a bit and then increase its audio in post! that'd be sick! Great Video!

My retroarch closes when i choose any game for MAME. I am using all bios for MAME and it is in same folder that the games. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Is it possible to save the game directories for each separate core? I thought turning on the save per core would allow me to save the location and then I could just select a core and load a game from a pre saved location but every core just tries to load from the previously selected location. Dong my nut in.

For me per core configs are not working. I set up the settings like yours, then I loaded up the SNES9X Next core and saved new config but when I restart it loads the default config.

great vid, will retroarch allow you to configure the mame default keyboard controls? (I use an arcade cab with mame set up and want to stick with standard mame controls). emulators like snes9x for instance wont allow me to use alt as a control button which is a pain as it is one of the player 1 fire buttons on my arcade machine. thanks
