How to switch out of S mode in Windows 10 For Free

On your PC running Windows 10 in S mode, open Settings - Update & Security - Activation.
In the Switch to Windows 10 Home or Switch to Windows 10 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an "Upgrade your edition of Windows" section, be careful not to click the "Go to the Store" link that appears there.)

On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Microsoft Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you'll be able to install apps from outside of the Microsoft Store.

Nope. This is a complete lie. When you click "Get", it pops up forcing you to sign into a microsoft account or it won't install.

Thanks very much, but sometimes you need to ensure that your pc is up to date (updated) for that will work, if you got an error when you click on the get button.

PEOPLE! If at 0:26 it doesn't say that windows is activated, press the troubleshoot button (I think that's what it was called) and it will fix it. Then restart the store and it should work.

To "Switch Out of S Mode" you require a Microsoft Account to get it from the Store. I don't have an account or my customer doesn't have an account and I don't want to create an account. How do I "Switch Out of S Mode" without a Microsoft

The "Store" requires an account. I don't have one and I don't want one. How do I disable S Mode without using the Store?

y store home screen looks different and there is no "get" option. The guy at Geek Squad said that Microsoft Store has been having issues, but I don't think that's it. Does anyone have any idea?

Is there any way to switch out without Microsoft store because Microsoft sign in keeps giving me an error and I have no access to use any apps or download and use anything on my windows 10 s because of it. I can only access the Internet and that's pretty much it. There's nothing else to do with my laptop.

Very helpful video. I hope it works without $100 fee. Alternative fix, throw PC from a second floor window, curse Microsoft 3 times, get a different computer. Warn the rest of the world that MS 10 S is evil.
