My sister only knows how to cook for 6+ people. Growing up she learned from the best, our mother. Now her food is comfort food for us, reminds me of my mama.

Kitchen tip: keep a small bowl/ ramekin nearby when making soups/ liquids you want to keep taste testing. With your mixing spoon, put some into the bowl to taste test! Saves you from burning your mouth and from putting the mixing spoon in your mouth then back into the liquid 😅

My problem is the opposite because I live alone for the first time in my life. I grew up learning to cook from my gma for large family gatherings and generally at least 5-8 people, then cooked for large groups at a veterans hall and brought home leftovers to my roommates, then lived communally and did the same. Now I struggle with how much because I tend to not want to eat the same thing 5 days in a row. Love your videos!
