Thanksgiving is whatever it is we can afford for dinner as long as the family is together. I remember one time we got the Turkey donated by the church and nothing else. My husband bought some Spanish bread like baguettes and we had Turkey sandwiches with mayo and mustard … my daughter was little and our little family had the best thanksgiving anyone could hope for. We were together, healthy and alive!

As an Australian who doesn't do thanksgiving, everything i know and have learned about thanksgiving has told me that its all about spending time with people you love and a 'made-with-love' homecooked meal. I feel like this video is ticking all those boxes...? Correct me if im wrong but this is what I imagine thanksgiving is all about 🥰
