Samsung Note Lineup Going Away? Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Ultra and Galaxy Fold 3 Make the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 21 obsolete. The Samsung Note 21 looks like it's still going to happen but the Note 21 and Note 21 Ultra will likely be the last Galaxy Note phones. The new Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and Fold 3 are going to have S Pen stylus support and the rumors are that Samsung is getting rid of the Note after the Note 21 and Samsung S21 - My thoughts on this tech news.

Samsung did this to themselves. They shot themselves in the foot. Releasing the "ultra" variant of the s series coupled with the standard note 10 and note 20. It's as you said, they saturated the market. A few years ago they had 2 s series and 1 note, that's it. All they have to do is kill the ultra and standard note phone and they'd be golden. S21, S21+, and Note 21 and boom, perfect lineup.

Here I am watching and posting on a Note 8. I don't tend to update that frequently. After my second Note, the Note 4, I figured out the changes weren't always massive enough to upgrade with every new Note. And I built a new desktop computer last year so that's where my upgrade money went.

A bit annoying seeing what the Note has become. I remember when they took away removable batteries and that entire controversy. Now we're seeing the microSD slot go away. I can deal with no charger in the box. I can deal with MST being removed, but I think the slot is the last straw. I don't use my S-Pen like I did at one point. I can't use my phone with my work as I have a crappy iPhone provided by work. Plus it's government work so there are security issues. I do appreciate Samsung adding S-Pen capability to the S21 Ultra and when I'm forced to upgrade in the future I may look at it. For now I think may step down to the S20 FE. That phone is an upgrade in most ways to the Note 8 outside lacking an S-Pen and headphone jack. It still comes with a charger in the box. The FE has a microSD card slot. And for around $400 less I'll probably get a similar life out of it. My Note 8 was bought in November 2017. So it's now 3 years and 3 months old. Samsung will offer me $125 for it on the trade-in. Not too bad, but I do understand why people upgrade every year.

Notice the difference of price between the 2 and the difference between the screens,
not everyone wants a double screen.
Cameras probably will be different,
advantage for note probably.
Price as well, if I’m not saying something wrong the note is half price of fold.

Let me know what you think

So i hope thw price of note 20 ultra decreases and then i'll be able to but it.😅 I really LOVE the note series. I mean, first i had S4, also that was a magnificent phone, but after that I bought note 4 and it worked 5 years for me and after that unfortunately the camera crashed( which i think was because of software update, cuz exactly after updat it crashed) and now I have note 8 from 2018.😅 All I know is that the note series are extremely expensive😥

We should not be putting inaccurate information on the note line. It is not going away...rather its being moved to 'S' and 'Fold' lines. Its way too popular and functional to say its going away.

The Samsung interface is disgusting. Such a mess. My opinion. Bloated is an understatement when it comes to One UI.
