It’s really nice. The only thing I do differently and I’m not sure that one way is better than another, but personally I prefer sewing the side borders first, then the top and bottom. I like the look better and that’s how most of the teachers from my various quilt courses do it as well, although I have seen it done like you did it: top and bottom first then sides. Cute baby quilt.

So is this the way you later it
1. Batten
2. Put backing side (ws) on top of batting
3. Put topping side (rs) on top of the backing..
This way both right side face each other
4. Sew leave enough room to flip... Is this correct

Great video, I don't care for doing binding. Do you have to sew from the center of the blocks, then outward to the sashes, or can you sew the sashes first and then designs in the center? Just want to know if it matters. Thanks

Cheryl, I hope you don't tire of my questions! When you close the opening, could you do a top stitch around the quilt instead of hand stitching it closed?
