Fantastic video. You got right to the point without all the unnecessary extra chit-chat. The fabric choices are lovely, and the finished quilt is beautiful! Thank you ❤

I'm not a quilter, but I am trying to learn. Your instructions were so easy to understand and follow. Thank you so much!

I'm in love with this process!! Just an easier yet beautiful way especially for a baby or crib size quilt. I look forward to all of your videos as you do so well at explaning what & how you are doing something and you help us beginners to sew something awesome! Thanks so very much!

I’ve added this my playlist - I make a lot of charity quilts and this seems easier to do. Thank you 😊

Thanks for showing this simple quilt. I love the blend of pastel pinks and blues together.
This is a great beginner quilt or when you're short on time. If you're like me and have trouble staying "in the ditch" then stitch a ¼" either side of the seam. Use a variegated thread to add a little bling to the stitching. This is also the perfect quilt to use all of those fancy stitches you never use on your machine. Set them to a moderately large size and sew them down the center of your seam lines. You'll add interest to the quilt top and you're reinforcing the seams at the same time...great for kids quilts or those that will get heavy use and frequent washing.

Now I have a way to get the quilt I need to finish before Christmas DONE. Thank you SO MUCH.

I’ve done this before, too, and love it! Instead of stitching in the ditch, I like to use some of the decorative stitches on my sewing machine and sew on top of each seam. It makes it look like I worked so much harder on it!😉

In 2019 I had a massive occipital lobe stroke that horribly effected my vision I had made 3 quilts before the stroke hit. My vision is mostly out of focus but I think I could try this one thank you for explaining what you are doing instead of music thank you again

Simple and lovely! This is the same method I use for making charity lap quilts. One difference is that I find stitch in the ditch too frustrating to stay close to the seam, so I use a serpentine stitch (which I lengthen and widen a bit). The result is the same, but it doesn't matter if I stray from the seam line.

I've made many quilts without a pattern. It's actually my preferred method for making them.

I love doing tied quilts. This project looks like it might be a good candidate for tieing.
Thank you for sharing.

It’s adorable! I have a few quilt tops that need to be sewn together so you’ve given me the push I need! Thanks!

I’ve wanted to try quilting for years and now I’m going to try it soon. This video started it bc I always thought it would be too hard. I like the idea of using long strips.
