Great tutorial. Thank you! Worked great. For those that are frustrated with the inability to currently drag and drop shortcuts to the Win 11 taskbar, you can put that shortcut you just created on the taskbar but it takes a few more steps. Right click, "Show More Options", Pin to Taskbar. It's ridiculous that Win 11 prevents dragging and dropping to the taskbar.

Brilliant! Thank you Leo. I've put the shortcut on my Taskbar (I'm using Windows 10 on a machine at work) and now I only have to left-click it once. A welcome side-effect seems to be that I've opened FE I can double-click on the subfolder I want and the left-hand pane jumps to that folder. On my personal Windows 11 laptop, however, which I've only had a few days, it doesn't seem that I'll be do all of this . . . There seem to be a lot inconveniences with FE in Win11.

Thank you very much ! For some reason file explorer opens to Windows-SSD instead of my user files.

Just incase you accidently type wrong file location, right click on the location that you want to open, and click, "copy as path" and add using paste.

Hi thanks for this. I'm making a script to launch multiple programs, can I use this open explorer in that?

With Win11 I pinned the folder I wanted to Quick Access and then unpinned all the garbage MS thinks I want in there so all that's left in Quick Access when I open File Explorer, is the one I want to see.
