One could also set a precise sensor area to detect humans in the welders range and turn them off when humans get into danger zone.

If you are missing the "Always aim at sun" then add and remove a weapon or tool, that will bring the missing options back.

I love the idea for setting up docking and undocking power management!

I honestly can't tell if all the little "accidents" in this video are intentional or not, but it's super entertaining nonetheless. Great video!

I love how you timestamp your videos, and your captions very clearly capture what is happening in the video. Very accessible and makes for easy watching. 10/10 content will watch every video you post.

Personally, I'm using 2 AI blocks (Move & Recorder) and a timer block to automatically dock my miner after returning with ore, I've got the timer block setup to toggle the AI Blocks on/off and run the autopilot and follow the waypoints, on the last waypoint I set it to trigger the timer block again (shutting down the autopilot & handing the control of the miner back to me). I used to HATE docking to connectors, and dreaded the return of a mining run each time because of this. Now when I return I just need to get close enough to not have anything blocking the path and then trigger the timer block, everything from that point on is fully automated :)

that power change/tank change when undocking is going to save a lot of my ships!

The event controller is so goot to auto recharge and refill, stop and start engines and pretty much anything you would do anyways when docking. One Block, so much easier life

Aah the small subgrid rotor thing is a nice idea to save some space when building many event controllers, thanks for that!

For welder walls I always used sensor that would turn them off whenever I walked into the kill zone. It is foolproof that way.

good thing about this is that you dont need to setup timer block for a simple stuff. like the light turn on and off with welder

Regarding the welder-wall warning lights, if you want to get really fancy with it you could tie those lights to a timer block, then tie the timer block to the event controller. The result is that you have lights that not only turn on, they blink on and off. Add a sound block to that and you can have it play a warning noise. Presto, flashing lights and klaxons.

I've been using the emotion block for my resources status displays and I try and put them on a small grid robot body to give the more character.

I started a new survival world an found the best thing ever, i made a static miner and had it mining straight down. And then added a cargo check to se if there is space in the cargobay for more stone. When it had space it mined and then turned of when full. I didn’t need to supervise it at all. Went on building my aircraft carrier(early game!!!) and i never ran out of iron. When it was finished i had 700k iron stored.
