Tuna dumplings made easy! I love snacking these; so crispy yet juicy on the inside.

Ingredients:
15-25 dumpling wrappers (i made 18 dumplings from this recipe)
1 can of tuna (80g), drain the water
2 spring onions, chop
1 small egg
1 tbsp of soy sauce
1/4 tsp of pepper
1 tsp of sesame oil (optional)
1-3 tsp of flour
Water (1/2 cup for each batch)
Oil to fry

Steps:
1. Combine tuna, spring onions, egg, soy sauce and pepper. Optional but recommended, add sesame oil if you like. Mix together.
2. If the filling is too runny, add 1 tsp of flour at a time. I prefer the filling to be thick so it’s easier to fold the dumplings.
3. Put the dumpling wrapper on the palm of your hand. Wet the outside part around the dumpling. Put a teaspoon of the filling in the middle, then fold the dumpling wrapper in half. Pinch the dumpling together at the meeting point at the top.
4. Fold the corner of the dumpling towards, continue folding towards the other corner. Make sure it’s airtight (see my reel for visuals)
5. Generously coat your pan in cooking oil. Once the pan is hot, arrange the dumplings on the pan. Do not overcrowd.
6. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the bottom turns golden brown, then add ½ cup of water. Put a lid on to steam the dumpling.
7. After about 3 minutes, take the lid off and let the water dries out. Cook until the bottom of the dumpling is brown and crisp.
8. If you like to get both sides crispy, flip the dumplings and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
9. Serve with dumpling dipping sauce or you can make your own sauce here. There you go! Enjoy.
