The boss’s “you chose the worst time to go. you chose the worst time to go.” felt so real and uncomfortable

i think the funniest part about the whole special is the description being completely misleading : “The "Smiling Friends" finally get to relax in a beautiful Brazilian beach town; Pim works on his novel; Charlie binges a load of torrent shows on his portable hard drive; Allan and Glep enjoy some long-awaited chill out time at the beach.”

Neat detail. The entire time they’re at the restaurant, the sun is setting. It’s very gradual, but the sky is blue at the beginning and very orange towards the end of the episode

I saw the plane crashing, but I didn’t think of the implications at the time.

This could lead to the entire airport getting grounded and the gang consequently getting stranded for even longer. And they already paid for the next flight home, which was supposedly in 45 minutes.

at the end of the credits it says "Boeing 747 expert/ aeronautics fanatic -Chris O'neil". I think it's safe to say that Chris animated that plane. It also it says "realistic 3D creature/monster motion capture (from battle sequence) -Andi Surkis"

This episode was probably the biggest middle finger to the audience I have ever seen. And because of that it's kind of funny.

I was kind of disappointed with the episode at first, but after it ended, I just started laughing my ass off.
Of course they didn't see Brazil, of course the episode was spent entirely in the airport. It felt way too real, and that made it hysterical.

Honestly, it sounds like they were all hoping for an individual room.
If they'd be okay with all sharing one big room, they might have been able to swing it within budget.
You could probably get 2 key cards off the bat for that stuff so you'd always need a buddy, but if you're in Brazil at Mardi Gra that's not the worst idea anyway.
Sleeping arrangements might be a little shit for one person. 2 on the bed, one on the couch, and one at the desk/table. But it'd definitely be doable. Plus with a high end resort, you'd get access to a pool and some other services. Just don't touch the snack jars.
