Roger Penrose: 'Quantum Mechanics Is Wrong and Consciousness Isn't computation'

What if I told you that nothing exists not even we exist? Everything we see around us- even our whole universe is just a product of our consciousness. This may seem like a far-fetched concept, but quantum physics exactly makes this claim. According to quantum physics, the nature of reality depends entirely on the observer. Reality has no inherent meanings; it's how we perceive other things around us.

100 years from now, a scientifically literate person will find it incredible that 'modern' people actually thought that consciousness arose from stacking large numbers of little computational clocks together, instead of being inherently fundamental to Nature, and didnt even consider that to be magical thinking. Glad to see the Penrose/Hameroff 'Emperor's New Mind' ideas still being discussed. I have been following this interesting story since the 70s and Capra's 'Tao of Physics'.

I have a SPLIT BRAIN. And you too. One side is local, and one side is non-local. This arrangement allows us to deal with the Universe.

I sent my model about Consciousness to Sir Penrose on july 2023

What is that cool moving periodic table they have out there? Anybody has a link?

First, let me express great respect to Sir Roger Penrose.

The philosophical view that reality COMPLETELY depends on human consciousness, on the observer, is extreme subjectivism. Naive realism is the second extreme view, according to which reality is COMPLETELY independent of human consciousness, of the observer. Naive realism is extreme objectivism. Obviously, both views are exaggerations. Therefore, both are false. Truth is in the golden mean. So, let's think about what it means that reality PARTLY depends on human consciousness, on the observer, and it is PARTLY independent of human consciousness, of the observer.

With the rendering of the transparent Dark matter into the visible range it changes things again. Not in the public domain(yet). Because it is a fractal, scalar, atomic influencer around in us, and an astro structure at universal scales entirely it will have implications. There is no vacuum for eg. All matter is governed by it.
