I used to hate Perregrin Took for his foolishness back in the 00s. I thought he was just a burden, a danger for his companions. Now that I'm much older, I can appreciate his cheery personality. Billy Boyd portrayed him amazingly.
(My favorite Hobbit is still *Samwise the Brave* though, the most loyal, caring, persevere, and toughest bestfriend one could ever have. My own personality is actually closer to Frodo, just a bit sillier and less serious).
