I was not ready for Hugo Weaving in a puffy jacket, beanie and thick chain necklace rapping in Elvish while Andy Serkis play the flute.

1) Whoever rhymed "DeLorean" with "Lothlorien" should get a raise
2) SAM HOLDING THE POTATO

Hugo Weaving showing up and rapping in Elvish was just totally unexpected and amazing.

MARVEL: Do you wanna come back as Red Skull for the biggest movie of all time?
Hugo Weaving: No, thanks.
Stephen Colbert: Do you wanna come back as Thug Elrond for the biggest LOTR Rap of all time?
Hugo Weaving: Hell, yes!

I like when Elijah says, "I bring the ring to Mount Doom and I throw it in the fire" and Sean makes a face like "Sure you did" at 2:43.

Sean Astin holding a potato was the best part of this.

I like how Sean Astin reacts to Elijah Wood saying "I throw it in the fire" like, "if you say so Mr Frodo".

The fact that Hugo Weaving is rapping in Quenta elvish (the formal, high elvish normally only used in ceremonies and stuff) instead of Sindarin (the every day elvish that you hear more of in the movies) fucking SENDS ME

I really love Stephen Colbert's love for LOTR

I'm assuming Colbert's team called up some hyper-fixated linguistics PhD who wrote his thesis on Elvish and he was like, "AT LAST my HOUR IS COME."

How do you get Orland Bloom to be part of a Lord of the Rings rap and not have him say "they're taking the hobbits to Isengard" ?

Yeah, weve had one rap… but what about a second rap?

The look on Sean Astin’s face when Elijah said “bring the ring to Mt. Doom then I throw it in the fire!” Priceless!

Why can I only give this one thumb up? I have two thumbs. The fact that they got Hugo Weaving, (King Elrond) to rap in elvish deserves both thumbs...just saying.

Lord of the rings is the number one trilly
The only problem is they cut Tom Bombadilly
When we asked Peter Jackson like 'man what's the dilly?'
He said 'nah sorry mate he was just too silly'

I can’t. Stop. Smiling. This was the literal embodiment of “But wait! There’s more!” I was delighted with three hobbitses…and you gave me more…I didn’t deserve it, but you gave me more. Thank you.

Sean Austin's dubious reaction to Elijah's claim of throwing the ring in the fire at 2:42 is everything.

Orlando Bloom’s line should’ve been “But those pirate movies are pretty sick too”

It took two entire years for me to know this existed.
