Shiny Pokémon & Poké Ball Pairings

Shiny Pokémon are the most aesthetic-based aspect of Pokémon, and to many shiny hunters, having your shiny match its Poké Ball is almost as important as finding the shiny itself! In this video, I'm going over all 30(ish) Poké Balls in the franchise and pairing them with their perfect shiny match!

Some colors don’t match as well as they could have because of the files I chose for the Pokémon/Poké Balls. It was an issue of color matching vs. quality files for the video. Apologies if some of the colors aren’t as aesthetically pleasing as they could have been!

It's a King, so it better have some Luxury in there imo.

it may be an ambitious project but i would enjoy a series of you going through each regions dex and pairing each pokémon line with a ball, it wouldn’t have to be as in depth as these but i would definitely watch

Another strangely fitting detail with the Beast Ball Shuckle combination, Beast Ball's throw animation opens up a wormhole which has a similar pattern to the bug net that the Net Ball has, so with Shuckle being a Bug and partially wormlike, this match is almost uncanny because of how perfect it is.

You should have chosen Espeon for the Friend Ball.

The white bottom references Eevee's shiny, and the green and red dot match Espeon with its red gemstone. The yellow lines can reference that it evolves during the day, and obviously through high friendship. I'm surprised that it didn't immediately catch your eye.

Love Ball fits so well with Ducklett! Not only does its shiny turn pink, Ducklett also has the heart motif going on in its design!

I know it's my bias talking since it was my first shiny in sword and shield, but I will never forget about Grapploct! Literally the first Clobbopus I encountered was shiny and I wasn't prepared to see the square shiny animation since I didn't know a lot about the pokemon.

I caught both my Zacian and Zamazenta in Lure balls since both were sleeping in a lake . So it makes sense catching both in lure balls.

Shiny Solgaleo is a nice fit for the fast ball and the mark on it kind of looks like an S

The only issue I have with the color / ball rankings is that it really mostly takes into consideration colors and not theming. I think Fast Ball works great with regular Voltorb and Electrode because of their impressive speed, and the fact that it’s not just a standard Poké Ball color, but also with an electric symbol upon it, the symbol of their very type! I catch a lot of Electric-Types in Fast Balls for this very reason. A fitting ball for many of the Electric Type.

Victini is indeed a rabbit! It's actually based on usagi-ringo, which is a way that apple slices can be cut so the peel splits and sticks out like rabbit ears
