Final Fantasy Tactics Most Overpowered Early Ramza Build

In this video I go over how to make the strongest and most overpowered Ramza as early as possible. And by early I mean after the second battle in Chapter 1 after you rescue Argath.

The only way you can get those equipment items in this video, is on the Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions Remaster PSP Version through Rendezvous and Multiplayer.

The idea is to get Ramza to level up as a Mime for 98 levels for the best overall stats and for him to later become a Dark Knight. We have to get our generic characters to level 99 first and for them to give Ramza JP through JP spillover.

Because we will be limited on equipment options. I highly recommend unlocking Samurai and learning Shirahadori fairly quickly. And then to raise your Bravery stat with the Orator's Praise ability. I spent over 120 hours on my save file to do all this! I don't recommend it at all! I hope you enjoy.

Please leave a like, comment and subscribe if you had fun. It helps me out and goes a long way!

Imagine sending off your little LVL 1 bro into his first battle, he dissapears, leading you to believe that he was killed, then he comes back months later as a LVL 99 Maxed out Dark Knight.

Mandalia Plains has to be the most played battle field in the game

Love this channel!
I’ve played this game once a year at least since it came out in 1998. It was and is still a highly enjoyable game with boundless possibilities.
Keep up the great work good sir!

Monks with equip armor from the Knight Job are pretty OP from the get go to end game. Armor gives better defense and hp overall. A weakness of the monk job. Monks skills like Chakra, Revive and Purification make them great personal/support healers. Offensive skills like Aurablast, Shockwave and Cyclone are great for some range or AoE. You can literally just make everyone Monks with equip armor and breeze through the entire game. Pick n choose your counter abilities, movement and second skillset.

Love this guide to become the most op Ramza. If anyone has the time and patience to grind through it. All kudos to you

Awesome video as always my fft bro! I just unlocked dark knight finally on my first character, named after me. My Ramza is very close but you just gave me more ideas for builds and for a future run in fft! Thanks for always inspiring! 🙏😎

man Jase, you're crazy man, really crazy!!! I wanna know how many hours this took!! :D

at the very end you made the suggestion that I was going to put if you hadn't mentioned it, just go for a Mandalia Plains Brawling Ninja Ramza with 97 Brave / 3 Faith! either way you broke the game completely with this insanely OP god-level Ramza LOL, nice video dude!!

Lmao, I did this exact thing about 15 years ago! That's awesome. The only difference is I used steal EXP to keep Ramza level 1, it was much easier having him gain JP at the same time.

Thank you for sharing extreme grind. I wish they'd built in multiplayer with the mobile version. I've only ever seen Melee & Rendezvous through watching your videos. Having to wait for Chapter 3 (if I remember correctly) on a starred version to pick up any of the equipment you have sucks.

Dark Knight is also available for the mobile version of the game. It's the one I'm playing. Doing 4 different files, 1 for a regular playthrough (probably might overpower), 2nd for my SCC (Single Class Challenge) Dark Knight playthrough (only able to use Dark Knight job and abilities. (For the jobs needed to unlock it, can use their abilities only while in that job), 3rd file is my "Pokemon Master, monster only" file (only allowed to use monsters and Ramza on my team, and the 4th file is my "Final Fantasy V Crystal Job Challenge", can only use jobs and abilities based on the chapter corresponds with said crystal. (So the only jobs which can be used are from the corresponding Crystals/Chapter. A list for better explanation: Chapter One - Wind Crystal: Squire (heh, Suppin), Knight, Monk, Thief, White Mage, Black Mage, and Oracle (Blue Mage) Chapter Two - Water Crystal: Wind Crystal + Time Mage, Summoner, and Calculator (Red Mage). Chapter Three - Fire Crystal: Wind and Water + Bard, Archer, Mediator, Ninja, and Geomancer. Chapter Four - Earth Crystal: Wind and Water and Fire plus: Samurai, Lancer, Chemist, Dancer, Dark Knight, Onion Knight and Mime. Exception to this rule: Being a job for the sole purpose of moving on. A good example is the archer. If you want to have thief, you must go through archer. That's fine. Just don't equip any archer abilities until the Chapter three.) For that file I rolled Knight, Squire, Summoner, Mediator and Dancer. I made Ramza the Squire, my male Galuf the Knight, my female Reina the Summoner, my other female Faris the Mediator and my last female Krille the Dancer. Currently on the Lionel Gaffgaerion castle battle (the one where Ramza is "cut off" from the rest if the team by the gate.) 😮

on every battle field there is a spot of matching elevation. place the monk in the middle then all the other chars around him. have your other classes with mana shield and then just chakra all day long. i also use speed save on the monk, and have people dash or throw stone on the monk to gain speed.

Liked and Subscribed. I hope for the rumored remake/remaster that they let you steal ALL of the Genji equipment 😊

Have you ever tried Final Fantasy 5? I played through for the first time recently, and while I had heard that it was the originator of the job system, I was still surprised with how closely the jobs lined up with their tactics counterparts.

I think there may be a way to get even stronger. But it might only work on the original PS1 version. If you go to Zeklaus desert (which is 5-6 battles into cahpter 1) you can level down all the way to level 1 as a bard and then level up to 99 again as a ninja and you will gain speed and PA and HP stats each time you do it. I have a ramza with 50 speed 99 atk and 999hp. He has 4-5 turns before the enemy takes a single action and usually clears the field.

Never went this deep with the setup, but every time I play this game I always rush dark knight pretty much right out of the gate. It's my favorite ff class. All I do is get the exact prerequisites needed for the class, and it still takes hours upon hours, I can't imagine how long this method must have taken you

The first time I played this game as a kid I grinded in the magic city until I had a full party of characters with Dragoon's jump, ninja dual wield, and I think auto potion. I would get guts and rock throw on everyone and just use those over and over to get XP (after getting JP Boost #1 of course).
I had no idea of optimal strategies, but that combo took me through the majority with ease. I recall the only map that gave me a hard time was that one with all the different color chocobos. I don't know what I did to manipulate the stats, but those choco meteors would destroy me. I had to try over and over to get through it
