Brightline train crashes into car in Lake Worth Beach

A Brightline train has struck a car in Lake Worth Beach.

When a train veers off the track and hits a car then that's news otherwise it's just stupid drivers.

You know what the problem is? The media blames the train like it was Brightline's fault instead of the driver's. They should have said that the driver was in the path of the train at the crossing instead of the train struck the vehicle.

A. The train did not hit the car. The car got in the way of the train.
B. Half of the damage to that car was caused by the fire department trying to get the occupant out.
C. Driver of the vehicle totally at fault.
D. Perfect illustration of the statement "The news media knows a whole lot about very little"

These are all the cars fault, they are so used to slow freight trains and having everyone and everything pander to car owners. NEWS FLASH look where your going, and actually just don’t go past railroad crossings

Sad news, but people must be educated and the tracks need to be isolated (with fences) and decent crossing places along the route, especially in urban areas, fast trains are here to stay (have been in Europe for a long time) people have to think, change their routines (perhaps add a couple of minutes into each trip) finally never play chicken with a train, you will lose!

In Indonesia, many people would say a car hit a train, not the other way around. Because the train is in the right and it is the driver's fault for not doing what they're supposed to do at the intersection.
