Does this method work for moving a 4.22 project from one drive location to another drive location? Alot has changed from this 4.7 version to 4.22 so I was hoping for some insight if this way would work. Thanks!

Great video, I was able to move my blueprint projects without any issues. However, I need to move my C++ projects too, but it breaks the code for every file so how can I do this?

bro any idea what to do when u add a new empty header file through visual studio and not creating a new class from unreal when u have to rebuild visual studio files and the option in the right click is not there? i tried to force it right clicking twice it says "rebuilding files" and after that it says "could not be compiled. try rebuilding from source manually". I dunno what to do.

Okay this I knew. But what about asset data? Its also saving on C disk originaly. I want that to be on D drive. Possible? Tips and so on?

NOTE: If you have projects in a folder and you don't want to open everyone. Or if some of them are from older engine versions that you don't have anymore, like me:
Create a new project and set the location to this folder where the other projecs are. You can delete this project after that and will see all the projects that you have in the folder!

Thanks, just d/l the 100 gig UE5 Ancient demo, which installed and set up a project automatically. Next my c drive showed a red alert bar as there was only 22 gab left on the c drive. I hope this will move the 100 Gb project to my spare data drive ok... Laurie NZ

Quick fix on UE5 Ancients project file it loaded onto my c drive, click on it in Epic launcher and choose remove local content. This cleared the 100GB DATA OFF MY C DRIVE OK... I still have the original downloaded file on seperate data drive...

I can't cut and paste the folder, its weird.... Unreal engine and the epic games app was off

Brought PC from labs to home because of the pandemic. The C drive is almost full and causes many crashes. It is solved when releasing the space. Thx
