C drive is full due to Unreal projects\C drive issue with unreal engine\DDC files

i had a strong feeling it was something to do with the "Edit Vault Cache Location" just didn't think of it to look into it thank you for this video friend, now my C drive is alot better now

Thank you finally it was hidden in ProgramData, damn epic they should always ask you if you want it save in c drive, i bought 1TB ssd to use it in UE5 and this what they do fill my c drive with this stuff

I dont know how this works for anyone. Ive changed all my folders, even reinstalled epic games and unreal on the M.2 that ive dedicated to it. This damn program keeps eating my C drive and nothing is set to go there. I lost about 15gb in 20 minutes 2 night's ago which crashed my project and now it's corrupted to the point that I cannot open it without it crashing unreal instantly. Ive's spent weeks on this project. Shit is so frustrating.

I created symbolic link for my unreal market place content folder in another drive it was like 400gig or something :P

the real way is download epic on a 2nd pc for unreal only with a ex hard drive
and your main one for gaming 😃

hey on 4.26 its easy but how to switch derived data cache on 4.27? it have more options and non same names

I assume I have to download all the assets to the new vault location, right? Can I copy paste the assets in the old vault location to the new one?
