I've done this meditation twice and both times I had a congested nose. Both times I felt energy/pressure on my sinuses and they cleared. I wake up and my nose is still clear! I don't sit down with the intention of Healing myself, but twice is not a coincidence. What an amazing experience!

Im just a beginner so didnt know what to expect! But already finding it a much richer and deeper experience than other meditations i have tried!!

Speaking as someone who started mantra meditation a few months ago, I can say this is an excellent guided meditation which covers the main points of difficulty: realising judgements are thoughts, and transcendence is NOT thoughts, so don't believe anything you think about it. - not to try too hard, or make an effort to say the mantra a certain way. I think this is a great practise for anyone who doesn't want or can't spend the money TM charges.

Thanks Sarah...I did TM almost 20 years back and later somehow discontinued it. Your guided meditation was very helpful in my rediscovering TM. God bless you 🙏

I think you did an outstanding job in describing transcendence and the meditative way of realizing it. I've come across many youtube videos that aren't nearly as effective in teaching meditation, and oftentimes teaching complete nonsense. Well done.

I have a question about the repetition of the mantra...

I noticed you mentioned not to synchronize it to my breath
Hearing that I wonder whether that means to repeat it continuously - like every second... or "say" it once and feel the reverberation of the time-space continuum and then at just the right time voicelessly "say" it again ... somewhere in between

Meditation has always felt challenging to me... either I sit quietly and remain mired in a thought stream which never really settles down, and at some point I've burned through my available time and have to move on... or if I use guided meditations I will fade into complete unconsciousness and then at some point <ding> ... and we're back

When I focus on my breath, it feels like I go into control mode... not merely observing, but making executive decisions how deep to inhale/exhale, how long to hold, stop controlling and just observe, then realizing I've been diverted by mentation into neither controlling nor observing
It feels like the degree of subtlety required is beyond my capacity...

Instead of hovering in the spaciousness between too tight and too loose, I flip between being too tight and too loose.

Incrementally I get the concepts of non expectation and non judgement and do my best to muddle along but deep inside (well I'm not sure how deep, maybe just skin deep) I can feel (or maybe my sub-mentation says) "I'm not sure what _it_ is but I'm pretty sure I missed it - again"

I'm taking another run at it....

You mention that it is important to not evaluate one's subjective experience of transcendence but rather observe how I show up in life (or how life shows up in me)
That ramps up the level of subtlety even more... so not only does one need to remain fully equanimous about each of the elements of the mechanics during the meditation, one must release any sense of feedback except maybe on annual or climatic timescales

I feel the decline of advancing fogeydom in addition to my endemic denseness and hope for some tricks to stem the slide

I did this for an half year. Then stopped for 3 months. Now i see, that how quickly this can be forgotten, but still once this is learned. It is easy to get on that state of being, but not to remain. It needs dedication.

Could have included some sort of sound feedback during the quiet times of the video, so we know the video is still going on. Something like a white noise, frequency, nature sounds, etc. I wondered if my PC died/fell asleep, or the internet stopped as I came to semi-conscious state, not knowing how many min had passed. Apart from the start and end of meditation dings, there were also some random dings throughout. That was also confusing.

I’ve been doing some listening on YouTube and TM teachers all say it Hass to be individualized mantra for the person on oneto one. I love and appreciate how you gave out this video for free but what are your thoughts on needing a teacher one on one. Thanks!

Mantras are difficult for me. I have trouble just hearing the mantra without moving my tongue at least a little bit. I get quieter by just listening to a fan.This is an excellent explanation though. Thank you very much! I'll keep practicing the mantra method.

Could anyone plz explain the Benefits & Merits of doing meditation in a SITTING position which is most commonly suggested, VERSUS doing meditation LYING DOWN? TIA!!
