It's ALL God's Fault!

𝗝𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗨𝗡𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘.

In an episode of James White's program The Dividing Line, he critiques Greg Boyd's belief that God desires the salvation for all mankind and made provision for everyone. Greg Boyd is an Open Theist who believes the future is not fully settled and fatalism is contrary to Scripture.

During his criticism of Boyd, and Open Theism at large, James White let it slip he believes it's really God's fault for man's sin and unrepentance.

𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: "But he says it's all man's fault, NOT all God's fault"

𝐀𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫: James White was 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 and 𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 the belief that sin and unrepentance are man's fault. He was assuming and defending the contrary position, that it is all God's fault. Dr White is a Calvinist and as such affirm determinism, which is a fatalistic view that all things that come to pass do so as a result of God's causal decree.

Doesn’t the Westminster Confession tell us that we shouldn’t look too deep into certain doctrines? Perhaps it’s because if we take Calvinist soteriology and sovereignty to their logical conclusion, we would have a god who is the origin of evil, thereby making such categories of good and evil, at best, purely arbitrary?

God is not "trying" to save sinners...He WILL save for himself all that will come to Him through faith in Christ Jesus, and as for the rest, He will GIVE them to the one THEY LOVE!

Great video. Calvinist say God determined everything which comes to pass yet in not in such a way that God is the author of Evil. What part of all do they not understand?? And how we'll did this work for David? Who was the cause of a cause of a cause for the death of Uriah? God still said he murdered his sheep. And that David was a murderer.
