For anyone wondering about the Zeno Button: In the anime it looks like he created it, but in the manga he just gives it to Goku. Toei might have messed up since it has the same design as Whis’ communicator - implying the Grand Priest made it. Regardless, that’s like saying Piccolo can make clothes so maybe he made the multiverse - the logic doesn’t follow.

I always kinda liked the idea of the Kaioshin of Time being his creator god counterpart. She helped create all of reality by creating new timelines. She's the ruler of time, he's the ruler of space.

If Zeno is the God of Destruction, and the Super Dragon Balls can reverse his destruction, it’s most likely his Supreme Kai is Zalama considering the way the Super Dragon Balls counter Zeno but Zeno doing the same thing Back. Hell, Namekians were stated to be from a Different Dimension so it’s possible Zalama is the Only Namekian that stayed in said Birth Dimension after becoming the God of Creation.

Zeno doesn’t destroy, he deletes. I am of the belief that Zeno is actually not strong at all (hence his need for guards, who I think are actually stronger than your average GoD), but rather Zeno just wields the biggest trump card, which is he can delete you at will and in a snap, which is why the GoDs and Kai’s fear him.

I have this theory that Zeno represents Toriyama’s editors, whom he has always had a rocky relationship with because they’re constantly editing out many of his ideas and creations that they believe won’t be good for DBZ business-wise. Toriyama has referred to his editors as “whiny children”.. which is the sort of persona Zeno is. That would make Zeno’s guards his legal team, and the grand priest his producer, who advices all, but ultimately does not interfere with the project’s nuances and is only in charge of setting things in motion.

zeno being a GoD, grand priest being his angel, and Zarama being the creation gods would be a neat twist. And it would make sense where the idea for the system came for. This would also explain why Zeno doesn't seem omnipotent as rather being the one above all or something, it's shared between 3 beings. Whis' statement of grand priest would also be true then and not like excluding Zeno. Angels stronger than GoDs, and GoDs are stronger than Kais since zeno could overpower Super Shenron's wish. We know Dragon balls are relative to their creators power as well so everything fits nicely.

Usually I don't have hope for DB to expand on its mythos too much but TBH thats one thing Super has been doing better than it's predecessors, and I feel like Toriyama, Toyotaro, and etc. know Zarama is a lingering plot thread so I have faith they will explore it one day or maybe zarama is long dead and the SDBs are just remnants of him

People have said it, but I'll say it also. I think it could be Zalama. I think it would take someone as the Supreme Kai for Zeno to be able to create dragon balls that can reverse what Zeno erases.

Personal theory:
His Supreme Kai/God of Creation would probably be Zalama, the creator of the super dragon balls. He is the only character who has done something to create stuff in a multiversal level

Makes sense to me that Zeno is a god of destruction. Also make sense from the perspective that "god" is supposed to be above "angel".

I just see the whole affair as Zeno being the embodiment of chaos, hence the childlike appearance. He doesn't need an attendant, the Grand Priest is just his pathway to rational thinking, which is not exactly chaotic in its model.
