Mark with your coaching expertise every video you make is worthy of watching. Adex makes a tool that rhymes with your name…. Please enhance our lives by making another video using it using it! Thanks in advance Mark!

Very cool. Been trying to find more mace activities to switch things up.

That ending bit reminded me of advice I got when working at a factory. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

Dope, with the sword carry being the cherry on top 🤘

Love this! Back before I knew anything (I’ve now graduated to the school of knowing very little to not much at all…), I ordered an Onnit Quad Mace, as it was the only thing available in Europe at the time, and they only had one in stock!
Of course it was and still is way too heavy for any of the high-rep work that is considered ‘normal’ for mace training these days. But with this drill I can see myself finally getting some use out of it, in a way that supports and builds fundamental strength, which will add into my other mace training.
Love how you are always innovating, Mark!
P.S. I have since invested in the Adex system to access the fine incremental adjustments it allows!

I have gained allot of muscle and functional strength since getting my 10lb mace. Great excercises that make working out actually fun.

0:40 Would maybe put the heavy part over the elbow and hold the handle loosely in the hand. The hand can balance the weight on the elbow with leverage. But same on the shoulder instead of the elbow or a suitcase carry seems more natural

Mark, another great video. Any chance you have a good idea for exercises that would help a relatively old man prevent LCL strains when being taken down in BJJ?

Movie fight question: did you see the King’s Man? If you did, what did you think about the Rasputin fight scene? I found it immensely entertaining the way it integrated Cossack dance and double sword moves.

Similar position to the rifle carry during a ruck march in the military

This looks like those rifle tricks that soldiers do when marching

Mark do you have anything you generally recommend to people who’ve outgrown 45 lb clubs? What would you use for 50, 55, 60+ Clubs? I have an adex but at that weight it is ridiculously long

It is not possible to watch "Last of the Mohicans" too many times.

Cool video, but not what I expected from the title of "Mace 101"
