Anyone calling for a Hamas or Iranian victory? I should remind you of a very grim reality in history, two cases in fact: The Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War. Israel absolutely ran through their aggressors ( 3 the first time, 2 the second with many units from various other countries) with absolute sheer ferocity. Remember, they had lesser numbers than today and far lesser military equipment. Picking a battle with them is a recipe for disaster and i really hope Hamas and Iran thought this thru but im sure they didnt

There's plenty of blame for both sides, Israel and Palestine but starting this conflict out with the massive attack on civilizans and the taking of hostages, videos of some showing horrible acts carried out on them, has not helped Hamas' cause. With this sort of planning and stealth, they could have hit power stations, infrastructure, supply dumps, etc... but Hamas started out by attacking civilians and gloating over kidnapped women taken back to Gaza. Now, maybe its a cultural thing and that's a good thing to Hamas, but its a terrible optic to most of the rest of the civilized world.
