They don't boost energy levels. Wrong title. They are low GI foods which do not cause insulin spikes. No wonder the general public are confused about nutrition if this is an expert's opinion. Foods which actually boost energy levels are high GI foods however you will have insulin spikes which will after a period make you feel drowsy, the same way you feels drowsy after a big Sunday roast.
