If you looked at the speeds Johnson was touching in this series it was 138 and early 140s (2009-2010) but he was bowling in high 140s and 150s in ( 2013-2014), Johnson worked very hard to become the beast of a bowler! Hats off

Mitchell Johnson was a slinger !! He used his shoulder so much. Swinging at that pace wud hv been any batsman's nightmare. And when he used to get it right, the results were thr to see. From 78-0 to 187 all out, that too on a flat pitch.

This is an interesting Test in that when you think of Mitchell Johnson destroying batting line-ups you think of the 2013/4 Ashes and the tactics he employed there: short, fast, getting batsmen caught behind fending off deliveries. Here he got his wickets through bowling full and swinging the ball: many lbws and bowled. Still at great pace though.
