Worst things about the Fiesta ST MK7! (BAD CAR?!)

I totally agree with you, as a fellow st owner, these things are annoying. The freezing of the screen had not happened to me personally but what has happened is that the screen somtimes just does not turn on. The squeaking by the seatbelt latch happens with me, i just places a black rag there, seem to stop it. Beware with age the seat will also start to squeak.

I personally like the fiesta for its quiet exhaust since nobody likes a loud fiesta and lets the noise of the turbo do the talking anyway 🤷🏼‍♂️

ST-3 got a bigger screen, sat nav and parking sensors as standard, but the reversing camera was an option. The bigger screen is better obviously but it's still the same SYNC system just on a slightly larger screen. Exhaust will sort your sound issue but I can see you're already onto that. In terms of the general build quality and squeaks I don't think how stiff the suspension is and how bad the roads are will help with that, there's some roads where it feels like I'm going down a cobbled street. Really would have benefited from adaptive dampers but I guess at the price point it's understandable it didn't get them.

MAN I wish we got the 3-door in the US. My least favorite thing about US spec Fiestas is too many doors 😪

Have you tried applying a little bit of oil to the seatbelt fitting? Just a thought.

TA is traffic announcements if i'm not mistaken. Basically, if you're listening to the radio, for example Capital or something. It will change to BBC R2 or something similar when they do traffic news. Its meant to tell you about any bad traffic ahead but i think its a pointless feature.

For the screen freeze you can fix it by pulling the fuse behind the glovebox 👍

Add another earth strap to the battery and it will solve the electrical glitches. Happened on my focus st. Lost power steering a few times. More earth straps, no problem.

You need the mountune stage 1 kit boost pipe air box upgrade and will make her sound nicer

With the wind screen, it's big to allow more light in as it's a dark interior. You can add a sun strip like some to make it feel smaller. I have a miltek car back non res on my ST. it's made it sound so much nicer. Don't forget new it was 2k cheaper than the opposition and a few grand cheaper than the mini. So you'll always find it cheap in the build quality.

Wd40 on the seatbelt. TA strands for traffic announcements. Build quality It’s a fiesta. Fit a mountune 215 kit. If you bought an ST3 you’d have satnav with a reversing camera

I dont have anything od those. And your wipers are not from this car.
But I agree that infotainment system is just meh. But i dont care I dont use it I just turn music on and drive it. And it doing it well good bt connection.
