I completely disagree about not telling anyone until 12 weeks. I have had 2 early losses...and the support from work / friends was invaluable. Plus I now embrace my next pregnancy and have to be joyful for every day. Yes if people want to keep it to themselves that is great but some people like to be open and have that support if things do go wrong.

I'm 35 and thought I couldn't get pregnant, I took my first 3 tests yesterday and they came out positive. I'm in shock, I feel bad because I'm not excited but I kinda am, but I dont want to get my hopes up, so I'm trying to maintain my level of excitement, the only person who knows is my husband but I'm dying to tell my parents but keeping it in. Also our health dept isnt doing preg tests right now because of covid. I'm kinda scared, kinda worried, kinda excited and just came across your channel. You actually were the first to congratulate me. Its hard for me to even get the words out "I'm pregnant" I wish I had people I could talk to about this but cant tell anyone yet

I personally agree with waiting to tell until the 12th week. I’m 4.1 weeks with my fourth pregnancy and I’m excited as heck however I can’t handle telling people the sad news in case it don’t go through like my third one. So I’m going to let people figure it out. If they ask I will tell but if they don’t I won’t. It’s hard to have to tell that news more than once.
