Reportedly when he landed on the concrete he went cartwheel forward and LANDED on his head. The immense force of the ride and him made his head split open when he hit the cement. One who was standing by near said a very disturbing and gruesome comment. She or he quote on quote said "His brains were on my shoe"

i did some research on this because my mom told me about it because it happened 3 years before i was born. The boy actually has down syndrome and he absolutely did NOT want to go on. So when he got to the top, he unbuckled because for some reason he didnt know he would fall instantly. then when it dropped, he came out and *SPLAT*. he literally exploded and the entire park was shut down for about 6 months.

Oh how awful. That’s just horrible. That’s one reason I don’t go on rides that require a seatbelt only. That ride should’ve had a bar over it as well. I hope the family was also able to get the ride permanently closed down. Can’t operate it ever again. What a tragedy. May he rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends.

This just happened in 2021 or 2022 in Orlando. They knew that the teen was too tall and heavy, but the seat belt buckled so they allowed him to ride. At the first drop he fell to the concrete and died. Incredibly sad! 💔

I was there, there were several belts that came undone and people were clinging them as best they could
- the ride dropped once and emergency brakes kicked in stopping the people in the middle
Then they failed and slammed straight down, second emergency brakes kicked in but once again failed
Finally about 30 ft from the ground the whole ride slammed on the ground

- this young boy flew out during the middle and just missed the safety nets landing on some barred line dividers

California’s Great America is actually my local park and drop zone is the one ride that I have always refused to go on. My friends call me chicken, offered to buy me food, money, etc. to go on this ride and it has just always giving me a horrible feeling now I know why.😢

omg 😲 😱 how sad poor baby Idk about anyone else but I have nightmares about my kids falling some nights but I also have nightmares about this same thing dropping off the drop zone very weird dreams I refuse to go on any rides anymore just bad feelings

He was mentally challenged and slipped out of the harness. The family shouldn’t have let him ride.
