Practice makes perfect. Been downwind foiling for about 2 years, yet haven’t never bothered with flat water. Was just to hard with “old style board”. This was my 3rd flat water practice session. Finally got it. Not the greatest technique but getting better each time. I believe downwinding is the pinnacle of foiling. And flat water great way to train for it. Takes some practice even with new style stuff. But is soo worth it!!! Go get some 🤙

Thanks! Lift HA200. While pumping never got it to its optimal speed or the foil close to the water. Which ads to efficiency.

Hey, I just tried sup foiling on flatwater with the 115l version of the Duotone Downwinder and the Fanatic high aero aspect 2000 wing for the first time, but after a couple strokes the board immediately turns and doesn’t go straight. I have a 75cm mast, so it’s quite confusing. Any tips?

Good job. Have you tried on actual flat with no wind at all and glassy water? I think it may be easier since there is no ripples so the board glides better
