As someone who is aceflux, I get insecure about whether or not I belong. Especially when people IN the community try to say the A in LGBTQIA+ is for ally, not Ace/Aro/Agender🤦‍♀️

Similar thing happened to me, Im genderfluid but very masc presenting, and was washing my hands after pissing when some dumbass teenagers walked in. One of them whispers to his friend “oi, it’s a [transphobic slur]” and my only reaction was pretty much “they can tell I’m not a man 🤩” which was weirdly the most gender affirming thing that happened that day :p

As an asexual I usually just feel like an alien observing the mating rituals of humans, so next time you feel left out just pretend you’re an alien primatologist on another planet, deep undercover observing the humans like how Jane Goodall observed chimpanzees in their natural habitat 😂
