I am a 74 year old retired Naval officer and had always wanted to undertake this fascinating journey. Thanks for making it possible through this video.

Being from Punjab, I can proudly say I've travelled mostly in south and I love the people, their food and culture. I hardly find it difficult to manage on my own, people are welcoming and helpful.

I used to be an avid IR fanboy, back in my younger days, travelling across without a care. With age catching up, and staying away from India, your videos give me the true and authentic flavor of train travel in India, from North to South and East to West. The best part of your videos lies in your smooth commentary, your pleasing personality and most of all, the genuine reviews. Of course, your knowledge about the myriad facts and tid-bits add a lot of flavour, and this is what separates you from the other (similar) IR content providers. It reminds me of my traveling days in India, and I get to live each journey through your videos and have been hooked on to your content.
The extent of trouble you go to, to show us night skips and night stations, makes it a must-watch as the viewer doesn't really miss anything from each of your sojourns. Carry on the stupendously great work.

Almost 45 years ago, when I was a kid, we had travelled on this famous Pambam bridge.
Nostalgic memories.
Thanks for reviving them.

The difference between North and South is so glaring. Look at the cleanliness in the stations, trains and sea water of South! Respect!!!

I remember of having undertaken this journey in the year 1977 when I was a student of class 5. I accompanied my parents and others on a pilgrimage to Rameshwaram. The secne was beautiful, but was very frightening. I literally begged my father to go via alternate route and not on this bridge. Nicely covered, and explained by you.😊

As an American living in India for the past ten years, I have to say the train system in India is far superior to what we have in the US.

My grandfather used to make this trip all the time. He took the train up to Duneshkodi. He used to tell me about this when I was little. He lived in Madurai and was a driver on Indian Railways his whole life

Thanks for showcasing Egmore. Made me feel nostalgic reminding me of journey from Madras to Tuticorin on Meter gauge. Just a piece of history. When the Pamban rail bridge was destroyed by the flood or tsunami or whatever, it was repaired and reconstructed by E. Sreedharan - 1st MD of Delhi metro.

My first trip to Rameswaram on pamban bridge was in 2012 through Madurai Rameswaram passenger. Thanks for these memories. Love and best wishes -to Satya from Sathya. First comment, btw!

I completed Rameshwaram till Dhanushkodi and stayed there for 2 days. Being a "northie" (term used by the residents of southern India for north Indians) I DID NOT find any issue communicating or chatting with the local residents, the hospitality was acceptable. Only issue was they did not allow any male solo traveler to stay in most of their accommodations (due to recent 2019 Sri Lanka attacks) .. Another thing I was inspired with, was the walls of Rameshwaram station. They were filled with paintings depicting life of *Mahamahim Dr APJ Abdul Kalam* Sir.
-Travelled in the monsoons of 2019 as Solo Muslim Travel from New Delhi, India.
