Hey, nerd on the street. A few words to the wise.

First off, love your gumption and self-awareness.  Keep up what you're doing.

A couple of things to remember for videos you make in the future:

1. Good sound is an underrated must for quality vids.  You can get good sound affordably.  In fact you might already have what you need to do it.  Mess around with your equipment, watch some youtube vids on good sound, do some test passes before you actually roll, but get the sound dialed in.  It makes all the difference.

2. Keep it short and sweet.  People don't have 16 minutes to find out HOW SOMETHING WORKED AND WHETHER YOU RECOMMEND IT OR NOT (BTW That is your goal when making these types of vids).  In fact, you're reply to ZombieLonghorn is a great example of the synthesized facts you're viewers need to hear.  Keep your vids short and sweet.  2-3 minutes is a good goal.  Writing it out before you shoot - either loosely or word for word, depending on your style - will help.

3. If you really want to take it to the next level do a "shot list" before you shoot.
