The death of Windows Phone?

It feels very nostalgic that window phone was my introduction to smart phones back in 2012-13

So that means there was nothing wrong with the window's smartphones but the community flopped it

Man I actually loved the UI of Windows.

They did several mistakes too.
1. Not provding WP8 update for WP7 was one of the worst decision.
2. Not giving the best processor & following apple way was bad strategy i.e. Windows Phone OS can run smoothly on lower hardware config. Yes until wp8.1 with WP10 i saw severe instability.
UI was unique & uniform until WP8.1. with WP10 it became most unstable UI & lost its consistent UI. Also WP OS with latest updates lost the uniform UI across apps & became more like android-ish.
Apps & developer support actually created a deadlock situation. Lack of apps became standard & default point in cons section. Lack of best h/w, less sales, Less dev support, less apps, Less manufacturers show interest, less phones, less interest.

Windows phone had something called Hub for some of the feature which was way too good & very well organized. They shifted away from those Hub feature.
If it existed today I don't think Microsoft would've continued their WP metro UI. Metro UI on OLED screen was just 🤩🤩😍😍. Some People did not like UI because it was different than already existing UI. They found it difficult.
Them trying to control hardware was also one more reason to fail.

For me Windows Phone >>> Any iPhone or Android phone.
I felt it when they stopped the support.
I still have the phone with me. Doesn’t turn on though.

Google is the largest culprit of this failure. They don't want to give any of their apps on windows platform

Everyone wanted to argue for Android vs iOS, so when the winner emerged, they declined it.

That was good experience for. Small smartphone with unique color back and stylised even stylus support to me. Really good strategy I liked that concept. Hope waapas aaye.

Even 512Mb Ram Lumia 520, Was Super Fast Working Since Now❤

It's not because developers were on iOs and Android before Windows phone os came.
It's because of Microsoft's reluctance to even host google apps and services like search, chrome, youtube etc on windows marketplace.
Something as simple as synching contacts with Google was extremely difficult.
That killed their market share.

I remember my friend was having Nokia phone and there was nothing intresting in it, coz it was windows except him we had inconvenience while using that phone, it was an expensive phone but also he used to like our phones .
