Two Metropolitan police officers knifed in London’s West End

Witnesses have described the horrific moment two police officers were stabbed in an “appalling” attack in the West End as they tackled a knifeman.

A young female police officer suffered a serious stab wound to her arm which Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley said may be life-changing in the attack near Leicester Square around 6am on Friday.

A second male officer was stabbed three times in the neck and once in the chest, but was expected to make a full recovery.

To say that diversity is our strength is to suggest that strength is derived from all ideologies, all beliefs, all values, all religions. Focusing on what you like and ignoring the rest is not diversity - it is filtering your world according to what you want to see rather than what you must see. It is not racist to remove your filters - it is common sense.

Sadly it will be something like this that will maybe instigate change in this back to front country we’re living in atm, or maybe it has to happen to another politician or someone of high profile or status.
