It's also a good idea to change the coolant pipe that runs from the water pump to the back of the firewall while the intake is off.

What BESIDES the intake manifold and coolant crossover tube were NEW parts? The fuel rails? Did you spray up the bolts before tackling the job. Would you provide a step by step process and techniques you used to do the job?

So yo went from aluminum intake manifold to plastic? Plastic cracks from the heat. Put the aluminum one on a shelf for when you need it later. Good clean job. Looks good. How does it run?

How long did it take to do the job? Were these Ford OEM parts or aftermarket? I have to do the exact same job at 221, 000 miles, leaking coolant at the thermostat housing area. Fluid is prevalent on drivers side of intake manifold, none on the passenger side.
