Mine are grown now. I clearly remember my oldest’s delight: we were folding a towel load. I pointed to her finished pile of folded washcloths & asked “where do we put these?” She thinks for a bit and then jumps up yelling “oh, I know! And takes off to stuff them in the correct drawer. Pure delight, pleased with herself.
Tip that worked for us: rearrange the typical bathroom, put bath towels under the sink, hand towels & washcloths in a drawer. Put cleaning supplies & extra soap & whatnot in the linen closet with childproofed knob. Keeps chemicals & potential mess makers away from the kids, + they enjoy being able to reach their own towels. Makes them feel ‘big’!

Yes!! ❤❤❤love and enjoy them now and make them the priority. It honestly does go fast and you want to look back and think on all the fun you had with them, not how much laundry you got done!!

Yes! I will say it a bit more challenging the more kids you have. Currently, I have an almost 3 year old and 14 month old. I also nanny a 7 month old and 18 month old. It feels incredibly hard to slow down, when someone always needs something from me and I have 5 min to do dishes or whatever else.

Don't feel guilty about that. Feel guilty about putting your young child on the internet forever without their consent. Because I'm sure you're doing a good job outside of that.
