I feel like the first "palette" is so transparent because of the color change. They always seem to be like that for me. I like modelones regular solid gel pots. Haven't used the palettes.

WOuld love to see you try the Gelish palettes! The colors look so pretty. and from the swatches i've seen colors look super pigmented and like they have a generous pan size!

Wow, it's so hard to find a non-streaky, vibrant yellow gel polish and the Vettsy one came out so good for one coat at that price point! I had a suspicion that these trendy gel palettes would be more expensive to make than the usual pots and bottles, so the companies making them would likely skimp on the quality and amount of product purely for the novelty and aesthetic. Gutted to see that's clearly the case with the first few you swatched...

I love the modelones palettes! I just picked up more. Incredible space saver like you said, since I'm limited to sharing a single bedroom with my husband due to our living situation. But it did take me a bit of trial and error before I liked them. They clump like mad on sticky surfaces if you do thin coats like me. I like to do one thin coat on a non-sticky surface, then a thicker coat, and then it's perfectly smooth and opaque. They don't spread dramatically with blooming gel like regular gel, which has it's uses. They're great for nail art, which I do a ton of! I think the color change one must be a odd one out, since I have the bright rainbow one and it works great once I got the hang of it.

Wouldn't say artist because like I said I'm self-taught and I just do MY nails at the moment and sometimes I'll do a friends, but I watch your videos almost daily and I get so many good ideas! but I also feel like yours always come out flawless and I'm trying to learn girl ..I'm trying! The pens reminded me of when last week during art class I got bored and drew on my regular nails with acrylic paint pens. It scratched off by the end of the day, but it was fun!
